Rory JohnFARRELL(Newcastle Upon Tyne) Peacefully with his loving family by his side on 27th February 2026 aged 69 years. Beloved husband to Ollwyn, devoted stepdad to Lee, Mark and Darren, treasured grandpa to Abby, Callum, Harmony and Isabella, much loved brother to Brendan, Miriam, Ruth and Barry, special brother-in-law to Maggie, Trevor, Graham and Yvonne. Rory was also a special uncle and friend of many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends please meet for Rory's funeral service on Monday 16th March at 2:15 pm at The West Road Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu will be received on the day with proceeds going to Pancreatic Cancer UK. A donation box will be available at the Crematorium. All are welcome after the service to continue the celebration of Rory's life at The City of Newcastle Golf Club, Great North Road.

Thinking of you all at the very toughest of times.

I'm sorry we can't be with you to celebrate Rory's well lived life but we will be raising a glass in his honour here in Ireland on the 16th.
